Whisky Highball: The seemingly simple combination of just whisky and water can be
transcendentally delicious when mixed with the right attention to the
details and technique.

Ingredients

60 ml Blended Scotch Whisky
180 ml Seltzer

Instructions

Pour the whisky into an ice filled highball glass. Stir for 3 seconds. Add the seltzer and stir once. Garnish with Lime Wheel

The Highball is such an old drink, it’s become the generic term for any kind of spirit and soda drink – it’s even got a glass named after it. This is the original recipe, and while it’s best with rye, it’s splendid with any kind of whiskey you’ve got.
